Hello my name is Dean Denis

and I’m the owner of Dean Denis Photography.

I’m happily married to my wife Teresa and we have 5 children. Kris, Emily, Nicholas, Adam and Zachary

I’m from the central Maine area . I started photographing what ever was in front of my lens, many years ago. I love to shoot  just about anything… I enjoy the excitement of shooting sporting events, with all of our kids playing sports I needed to be on the field. I covered local youth sports to high school sports, up to College’s. One of the Local colleges I enjoy shooting Is Colby Mules.

I have also covered the developmental teams for the Boston Red Soxs (The Portland Sea Dogs)and also the Boston Celtis(Red Claws) Don’t mind toning it down with portraits: seniors, infants/baby’s, dance, cheerleaders, gymnastics. I like to shoot Weddings, parties/ business functions  and also travel photography. I have been lucky enough to have photographed some street photography of different people on the streets of London, Oxford, and surrounding areas in England.

This is my second time around with photography, now using digital equipment, it has opened up a new world for me. Things I can do creatively. I have started trying to be more creative with my work, I was told by a fellow Photographer Steve Bonini, And I quote , ” You don’t TAKE an image…you MAKE an image”  With that I have been off and running ever since.

With the help from local friends and photographers, and and others from all over the country! They have all helped me, grow into who i am as a photographer today, and where I’m going that’s to be continued!!!!
